Leadership
After the start of the Holocaust, the Bielski Brothers envisioned a world where Jews were not persecuted. Tuvia felt it was an obligation for him to help other Jews who were struggling to survive the reign of the Nazis.
Tuvia acted very assertive and prevented many rebellions that could have occurred within their camp. For example, when food became very scarce and some people became angry, Tuvia threatened to kill and banish anyone who would steal and eat more than they should. He showed his wisdom by hiding his group in different forests and and swamps. Although some may view this in a bad way, it was most effective for Tuvia to be a dictator during this time because this was a time of crisis and decisions needed to be made quickly and without debate as lives depended on it.
